Transportation of domestic and international frozen goods

Our Process

At NOCS we have been refining the process of moving domestic and international frozen freight for well over 100 years. To develop the perfect logistics solution, we begin by performing a comprehensive needs-based analysis for each customer. We then work closely with the customer to tailor a solution that best utilizes our capabilities, resources and global network– resulting in maximum efficiency and reduced costs.

We also pride ourselves on offering a one-stop process for the completion of export and import projects. Our export services include transportation to the port, blast freezing, storage, certification and documentation – as well as container loading and vessel stevedoring (loading of break bulk vessels). An equally seamless process is provided for import shipments, which may include drayage and shipping by truck or rail.

We also offer our customers the advantage of being able to handle the entire import/export process with respect to documentation and regulations. We have a great deal of experience in working with government agencies including the USDA and the FDA-NOAA.

Once the process is finished and the product is ready for export, NOCS has the ability to load and dray containers to any of our strategic ports, with access to all major steamship lines offering quick and efficient transportation services to the global market.

Our Facilities

At NOCS we are proud to serve as the gateway to the world for international food companies. In order to better serve our customers, we offer four warehouse facilities with locations in New Orleans, LA, Houston, TX and Charleston, SC. Featuring a combined total of more than 12,000,000 cubic feet of refrigerated space, our facilities serve markets across the world – from the entire Gulf of Mexico to Central and South America, the Pacific Basin, the Australian-New Zealand sector and the People’s Republic of China, as well as Eastern Bloc countries and Russia.

Being located at three major US ports gives customers the ability to load containers to capacity, as well as grants them access to all major international steamship lines, offering quick and easy access to the global market.
